What do you like most about being a part of the Rotorua Bike Festival?

The Rotorua Bike Festival is an iconic event in Rotorua and something that many of our families look forward to so we consider it a privilege to be included in the Festival. It also showcases Rotorua to tourists and visitors so we're hoping to attract a diverse range of people through our association with the festival.

What is unique about your event that none of the other festival events has?

You don't have to be a biker to come along and enjoy the day. There will be fun for the whole family as well as important safety messages around cycling and vehicles

The organisers of this event are a small committee attached to Central Kids Rotorua East Kindergarten known as the Friends of Kindergarten. We are made up of a teacher and parents whose children attend the Kindergarten. We are responsible for running events and fundraising which are unique to our Kindergarten such as our annual Christmas and wearable arts shows and we're excited to be organising this Family Fun Day as part of the Bike Festival given that so many of our families are avid cyclists.
