Welcome to the Rotorua Bike Festival!
The 1st Rotorua Bike Festival is over - the weather was gorgeous, events were very well-attended and now the planning starts for 2014!
Rotorua is a fine place to cycle…quiet roads, an energetic BMX scene and a world-famous mountain bike trail network in the Whakarewarewa Forest.
Rotorua has hosted World, Oceania and National Championships and every year there is a rich portfolio of annual cycling events.
In 2013 we added one more – the 1st Rotorua Bike Festival, a week of events and entertainment.
The ride goes on in 2014 with the BikeNZ National Mountain Bike Championships and the second edition of the Giant 2W Gravity Enduro - with lots more to be announced over winter.
There will be something for everyone, again: from the hard-core, fall-off-a-cliff downhiller to family fun and everything in between.
Lots of people joined us for a celebration of all things cycling in 2013…and you can do it again in 2014...
