60 Seconds with Low Key Super D - New Events
We asked some of the newest arrivals to our Rotorua Bike Festival team to tell us a bit about their event and a bit about them... Nick answers Megan's questions below about Low Key Super D and the team that make it happen.
What is the best thing about your event?
Everything about it is the best thing, but the main best thing is the good vibe.
What sort of people do you think would most enjoy your event?
Any beginner/intermediate/advanced mtbikers, capable of riding grade 3/4.
What do you like most about being a part of the Rotorua Bike Festival?
We are stoked to be involved in the Rotorua Bike Fest to offer a social midweek evening MTB event for everyone!
What is unique about your event that none of the other festival events has?
None of the other events involve moonhoppers or enduro sticks (*editors note... I had to google what these were... Moonhoppers are definitely worth turning up for... I'm still a little hazy on enduro sticks)
Is there anything else you would like everyone to know about your event?
You can win a Santa Cruz 5010 CC mtb frame for shock.
Tell us a bit about you and the team...
We, the organisers, are three young men in the prime of our lives giving the gift of low key enduro back to the people. We have come from humble small town New Zealand beginnings and grinded our way to the low to mid echelons of low key racing realm of the central north island. Our mothers are very proud.
Who are the rad businesses supporting your event?
Santa Cruz, Smith, Bike Culture, ParrotDog, Torpedo7, NZO, Widopen, Southstar Shuttles, Mons Royale, Peak Safety
