We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for the purpose of contacting people who win prizes, to send relevant information and marketing material about the festival, and to gather data on who is using the passport.
You agree that you do not object to us contacting you for any of the above purposes whether by telephone, e-mail or in writing and you confirm that you do not and will not consider any of the above as being a breach of any of your rights under the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999.

Your Personal Information may be disclosed to other reputable third parties whom have 'stamped' your Bike Festival Passport. Rotorua Bike Festival Trust requires all such third parties to treat your Personal Information as fully confidential and to fully comply with all applicable NZ Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place. We will not release your Personal Information to any company outside Rotorua Bike Festival Trust, other than those who have 'stamped' your passport, for mailing or marketing purposes.
You should be aware that if the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities requests us to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information we are entitled do so.
The Rotorua Bike Festival Passport will be active from the 1st of December 2016 until the conclusion of the Rotorua Bike Festival at close of business on the 19th of February 2017. You may recieve stamps from participating businesses any time during this period.
Prizes will be drawn on the 20th of February, 2017 and winners will be notified by email. The method of delivery to the winner will be determined by the location of the winner and what the prize is.
The prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes are allocated by a random draw.
Each "stamp" constitutes one entry.
Participants may only collect one stamp per business.
